What we collect
When you email us, we receive your email address and the details you choose to share. These may include your name, role, ministry and message. Our site currently directs enquiries to Aaron’s inbox, not a CRM.
If you join our email list, Beehiiv collects the details shown on its sign-up form and keeps a record of your choice. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics collects basic device and site-use data. We do not put enquiry text into analytics.
Why we use it
- To read and reply to enquiries.
- To manage a possible or active working relationship.
- To protect the site and stop misuse.
- To send email notes when you have asked for them.
- To learn which public pages help, when you accept analytics.
- To meet legal, tax and record-keeping duties.
Our lawful bases
We use legitimate interests to answer business enquiries, keep useful relationship records and protect the site. Our interests are to run the business, respond to people who contact us and keep our systems safe. We use steps before a contract and contract where this is needed for work you ask us to consider or do.
We use consent for optional analytics and email notes where the law calls for it. You may withdraw that consent at any time. We use legal obligation where records must be kept by law.
Who receives the data
Vercel hosts the site. Google provides our email inbox and optional site analytics. Beehiiv runs our email list. These providers process data under their own contracts and safeguards. We do not currently send website enquiries to HubSpot or Resend.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. We use the safeguards offered by those providers for data transfers. You can ask us for more details by email.
How long we keep it
We plan to remove enquiry records after 24 months if no working relationship begins and there is no legal reason to keep them. Active client and finance records may be kept longer where the law or the work calls for it. Unsubscribing stops our newsletter emails but does not erase your record. Beehiiv keeps an inactive record so we can honour your choice. You can ask us to remove your data.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to fix or remove it, limit how we use it, object to some uses or ask for it in a form you can move. Some rights depend on why we hold the data.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children’s data
This site is for organisation leaders and staff. Please do not send private donor records or details about a child through this site or in a first enquiry.
Changes
We will update this notice when the site or its providers change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
