Your choice
We do not load Google Analytics until you accept it. The accept and reject choices are given the same weight. You can use the cookie settings link in the footer to change your choice.
Essential storage
The public site stores your analytics choice in your browser. This is needed so the site can remember what you chose. Vercel may also use essential security controls to protect the site and private preview pages.
When you send an enquiry, we keep a random request ID, a check value and the time in your browser tab. These help us check a retry. We do not save your form answers in this storage. It clears when the tab session ends.
Reading preference
If you choose a light or dark view for blog posts, we save that choice in your browser. It stays on your device and is not sent to analytics.
Optional analytics
If you accept, Google Analytics may set cookies that help us count visits and learn which pages are useful. We set analytics to denied before your choice. We do not use Google Ads, ad personalisation or remarketing tags.
With your consent, we also keep the first page you visit and any known campaign labels in your browser tab. This helps us see how people found the site. We clear these when you reject analytics or the tab session ends.
Email forms and video
Beehiiv runs the email sign-up form and may use its own essential controls. Video pages use a privacy-aware YouTube or Vimeo player. A video provider may receive data when you choose to play a video.
